Belgian government is not going to raise taxes on bank accounts

“The taxes on bank accounts will not raise because of an upcoming inflation”, says Paul Huybrechts, president of VFB. People who save money would not be able to make profits, due to a high inflation, low interest and the proposed extra tax. The real interest - the difference between the nominal interest and the inflation - would decrease below zero. Moreover, people who retire and did not save an considerable amount of money, would still depend on our government.
